The warrants were issued due to the suspects' failure to appear before the court despite being served notices.
Fahim, who recently kicked off his election campaign by addressing a public meeting in Bhanote, faces disqualification if convicted in the case.
Accused Habibullah Warraich, Akram Warraich and Mohsin Habib Warraich allegedly owe Rs420 million collectively to the NICL.
Rather than paying in cash, they provided 10 cheques to the NICL worth Rs42 million each. One of these cheques bounced. Following this Mohsin Warraich had fled to London, but he has decided to return to appear before the court.
The Supreme Court had remarked that the footprints of the financial irregularities that had been unearthed in hearings of the scandal could be traced back to the bank accounts of Fahim.

Being a local resident of the constituency of Makhdoom, I can tell you how he spent his five years while he was a part of federal cabinet. He rarely had any visit to his city. Rarely anyone (except his favorites) got to see his face. Above all, he didn't bother to do any development work at the constituency where he got elected from for six times. Further, people getting annoyed of such fuedals, formed an alliance under name of 'Awami Ittehad' in order to get back their due rights. Now it seems high time to get rid of such corrupt, incompetent and selfish people.

We need a new CJ who has the temperament to put these people behind bars. This CJ has not been able to deal with the corruption of his own son, how then can he go after others???
The time foe waving the sword in the air is over..............it is now time to use the sword.
It is only Supreme Court which can convict the rich and mighty people in Pakistan.
Poor and Middle Class people appreciate the efforts of Supreme Court of Pakistan.
The real news is when these corrupt are captured and sentenced. Simple warrants don't mean a lot.
@ Akhtar: Why is a man like Faheem not be guilty? Is he an angel?
Where is Monis Elahi's name in the NICL scam now?
Come on man..
How they loot so much money so openly? My goodness.
@ akhtar What makes you so sure about Makhdoom Amin Fahim's innocence? Do you know that Makhdoom had Rs 40.05 million deposited in his bankaccount? http://tribune.com.pk/story/383955/nicl-scam-court-questions-amin-fahims-probe-immunity/
The mega corruption scandal of NICL contains many "innocents" including dictator Musharraf's Minister, Maj Habib Warraich & son-Mohsin Habib Warraich, Deputy PM-Ch Pervez Elahi's son Mr Moonis Elahi and the most-innocent Makhdoom. NICL Corruption has brought Qatil & Maqtool together.
Let the justice prevail, all corrupts be brought to justice and public money returned without any discrimination.
This long overdue case should be finished once for all. In fact Nation is waiting for the justice to be done with it by punishing the culprits. We want the looted money back with interest.
Only a stunt to disadvantage peoples party. They are all scared that ppp will be voted back to power. A man like faheem can not he guilty
The courts should now move one step forward and convict these people and not let this linger on and on and on
I think SC alone can not run this country. We have to defeat the status quo powers if we want to give and receive justice. The ONLY chance we are left with is PTI. Its because PTI has not been tested whereas others when tested have failed again and again. Now how many Pakistanis understand the corrupt Pakistani systems and will get out of their homes to vote for change. Long live PTI, Long live Pakistan.
It has been proved beyond any doubt that Amin Fahim was fully involved in the scandal as is evident from the huge amount deposited in his bank account. No leniency should be shown to any corrupt person irrespective of his political affiliation. He should be awarded exemplary punishment. His entire property should be confiscated. The amount found illegally deposited in his bank account should be recovered and deposited in the national exchequer and he should be disqualified for ever from taking part in the elections.
Wish, all these corrupticians face what they deserve.
nothing will happen they own Pakistan. speak for a change
Interim government needs to clean up FIA as well as NAB so that investigations which has been stalled by PPP alliance and their cronies could be restarted. I hope these investigations fruit some results before next election.
Please recover all looted money Let justice be done
Good news, these wolves In garb of sheep need to be tought a lesson.
