A free medical camp was arranged on Sunday at the newly-established Seyada Hafeeza Health and Skill Centre in Tarnol for people from the area and its surroundings, according to a press release issued by the organisers.

Organised by Bardasht in collaboration with Muslim Aid, Al-Shifa Eye Trust, Lions International and Hasan Welfare Organisation, the camp provided facilities such as eyes tests, general medical care and medicines, testing for diabetes, Hepatitis B and C, and dental care.

Hundreds of people, including women and children, availed the facilities and praised the efforts and commitment of former federal minister Nilofar Bakhtiar in establishing the facility in the underserved area.

Bakhtiar reiterated her commitment to further expand the facility to include specialisations and also provide other facilities to meet the needs of local people using the results of baseline surveys.

The camp was also visited Muslim Aid Country Head Khobaib A Vahedy and Lions International District Governor Salman Mansoor.
