Reducing violence: Ban on carrying weapons across Sindh

The ban also applies to security guards of political and religious leaders.

KARACHI: The Sindh home department has banned the display of weapons and carrying licensed weapons across the province with immediate effect. Special permits to display or carry weapons under section 144 have also been cancelled according to the notification on Saturday, which stated that violators will be punishable by law. The ban also applies to security guards of political and religious leaders.
