Former military ruler-turned-politician Pervez Musharraf filed his nomination papers on Friday to contest elections for the National Assembly from three constituencies – NA-250 (Karachi), NA-32 (Chitral) and NA-48 (Islamabad).
On the other hand, sources said that a five-member APML committee, headed by Brigadier (retired) Rashid Qureshi, was in contact with other political groups, including MQM and PML-Likeminded for possible seat adjustments.
Qamar Mansoor of the MQM confirmed discussions were ongoing but added that any decision on seat adjustments would be made only after all parties submit their nomination papers.
Imran submits papers for hometown seat
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan also filed nomination papers for his home constituency NA-71 (Mianwali).
He will contest elections from four constituencies – NA-126 (Lahore-IX), NA-71 (Mianwali), NA-56 (Rawalpindi) and NA-1 (Peshawar-I). Senior PTI leader Ayla Malik has filed her papers as a covering candidate for her party chief in NA-71.

An arrogant leader who bragged about taking three wickets with one ball, needs four balls to score one run. Somehow he is right too. He does not believe anyone else from his party would win another seat. Suppose he contests from one seat and loses, there will be no one from his party who would sacrifice his seat for him.
"Love for all Hatred for None", very true, Birds of the same feather flock together :::: support each other you both deserve respect and love....love to your country and nation without any discrimination against race, culture or relegion......Your slogan should be "Love for all Hatred for None"......we beleive on both of you.....Other all are just money makers........................................
What about Shariffs? only from Raiwand mehal?
Birds of the same feather flock together (against PML n )
Imran Khan sahab learn something and unite with Musharraf as its will of the educated. Musharraf and you can really work together and i know it for a fact both of yours votebank has a sizable weight age. Otherwise the only seats even if you will gain will be because of electables like Mr Tareen, Javed Hashmi or others. Change your stance before its too late and you sit in opposition on mere 10-20 seats and the country God forbid goes into doldrums in coming 5 yrs if this type of democracy continues.
They should run in all seats. Perhaps voters in some constituency may take pity on them.
The moment a politician decides to contest more than one constituency indicates that he is shaky and not confident about his victory and to minimize the risk prefers to fight at more than one seat. IK should have been confident.. ex dictator may prefer so though he but it is not sure if he will be able to contest at all ( considering the court cases 7 article 52 & 63 of constitution)
Good work both guys keep it up. I have a trust on you both as other dont have to show any thing +ve
It's good to see these faces rather than PPP and PML n. they have the potential to break the status quo the ping pong politics. The other good thing is they are not contesting against each other.
