Sadiqabad: Bakery robbed; car, bike stolen

Separate cases have been registered against the robbers but no arrests had been made.

A bakery was robbed and a car and a motorcycle were stolen from different parts of Sadiqabad during the last 24 hours.


In the first incident, Tahir Hayat lodged a complaint with the police that armed robbers broke into his bakery and held him and his customers hostage.

They looted Rs85,000 from him,  Rs17,000 and bike documents from a customer named Anwar, a wallet containing cash and bank cards from Saqlain, and a mobile phone from Adnan before locking them inside the bakery and fleeing.

Meanwhile, Muhammad Akram lodged a report with the same police that thieves stole his car (LXE-8634) from outside a pharmacy on Benazir Bhutto Road and Nauman Haider reported to the police that his motorcycle (RIN-3370) has been stolen outside a general store at Farooq-i-Azam Road.

Separate cases have been registered against the robbers but no arrests or recoveries had been made till the filing of this story.
