Unpaid Electricity Bills: Recovery cell set up

April 19 deadline was set for depositing the outstanding dues.

LAHORE: A recovery cell has been set up by the Punjab Chapter of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) for the collection of unpaid electricity bills.

In a meeting between electricity distribution companies and NAB officials here on Friday, an April 19 deadline was set for depositing the outstanding dues.

Criminal proceedings under NAO, 1999, would be initiated against defaulting consumers after the date.
