KARACHI: An anti-terrorism court adjourned the hearing of the Shahzeb Khan murder case till today after one of the suspects, Ghulam Murtaza Lashari, could not appear in court.

According to jail officials, Lashari was not feeling well. Two eyewitnesses present in the court were also unable to testify as a result.

The judge, Ghulam Mustafa Memon of ATC-III, expressed outrage over the absence.

Shahzeb Khan,20, was gunned down allegedly by Shahrukh Jatoi and his friends, Sajjad and Siraj Talpur, when the young men had an argument about the latters’ servant, Lashari, behaving inappropriately with Khan’s sister on December 25, 2012.
