Poll process: 195 nomination forms issued

As many as 195 nomination forms were issued on Friday and 143 candidates submitted nominations to the returning officers.

Party workers obtained nomination forms on behalf of several political leaders including former prime minister Mian Nawaz Sharif for NA-119. Party workers carried some of the candidates on shoulders and changed slogans in favour of their parties. Some also danced to drum beats. The candidates, who submitted their nominations on Friday, included Sardar Ayaz Sadiq for NA-122, Hamid Khan for NA-125, Mian Aslam Iqbal for NA-122 and Akhtar Rasool for PP-148. Earlier, Liaquat Baloch has submitted his nomination forms for NA-126 and Fareed Paracha for NA 121.
