S asia leadership summit: Wateen sponsors regional event

South Asia Strategic Leadership Summit will be held in Karachi on April 2 and 3.

LAHORE: Wateen Telecom has announced that it is sponsoring the South Asia Strategic Leadership Summit, which will be held in Karachi on April 2 and 3.

In a press release, Wateen says it will be participating as a Gold Sponsor in the event, being hosted by Nutshell Forum, as a sign of support for such management and leadership events.

The summit will promote cross-border cooperation in strategic objectives and leadership, and create a spirit of sharing among top minds of Pakistani and Indian corporate communities. More than 500 delegates will be attending from different countries of South Asia.

Wateen CEO Naeem Zamindar, who will represent the company at the summit, said, “Nutshell’s forums are an important way for regional heads to understand and share ideas about the direction of the industry, our mutual goals and the best ways to work together in a friendly spirit of competition.”
