According to a press release, the dinner was hosted by the Hawn Foundation at the exclusive private members’ club Annabel’s in West End, London. Even Kurt Russell flew in to London to attend and help Goldie host the event.
Ali decided to help raise funds for The Hawn Foundation which seeks to help transform children’s lives by providing them with opportunities to acquire vital social and emotional skills.
“Goldie and I had a long chat on Monday about how fame or personal achievement in itself cannot provide sustainable happiness and the key to happiness is helping others,” said Ali. “I commend Goldie for taking such an initiative and inviting me to be a part of it,” he added.
