Nonpayment of bills: FESCO disconnects 228 connections

Sheikh said 79 electricity connections of Isakhail TMA had been disconnected due to unpaid bills of Rs4.344 million.

The Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) has disconnected 228 consumers over nonpayment of bills, The Express Tribune has learnt. FESCO spokesman Tahir Sheikh said on Tuesday that the tehsil municipal administrations, the civil defence as well as the highway, health and education departments were among the 228. Sheikh said 79 electricity connections of Isakhail TMA had been disconnected due to unpaid bills of Rs4.344 million.
