Naway Sahar Scheme: Laptop distribution continues at UoP

Around 100 laptops were distributed under the Naway Sahar Scheme to students enrolled in the four-year BS programme at the University of Peshawar (UoP) on Tuesday.

The laptops were distributed to students of the Department of Mathematics, Department of Social Work and Department of Sociology. Department of Mathematics Chairman Gulzar Ahmed Khan and Institute of Social Work, Sociology and Gender Studies Director Professor Dr Muhammad Niaz distributed the computers during a ceremony.


Distribution ceremonies began on March 18 and will conclude by April 18. About 2,854 laptops will be distributed among students from 39 different departments. So far, 549 laptops have been distributed.
