KARACHI: The National Forum for Environment and Health (NFEH) expressed deep concern over the unsanitary conditions in the city on Sunday. NFEH President Naeem Qureshi said that according to a survey conducted in the past few days, it has been found that the road in front of CIA Centre, Saddar, has been converted into a dumping ground, which is affecting traffic flow. Other areas where roads are steadily worsening include Empress Market, Talpur Road, Lucky Star, Abdullah Haroon Road, Liaquatabad Cross Road, Karimabad, Clifton, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, North Karachi and Shah Faisal Colony, he added. The forum stressed the need for better sanitary conditions in hospitals, particularly Jinnah hospital and others in the Cantt area.
