The Gunjmandi police on Saturday arrested three lawbreakers and recovered explosive and firecrackers from their possession.


On a tip-off, a police party raided at a shop in Nankari Bazar and arrested Naeem for illegally selling firecrackers, which were seized.

The same police arrested Yasir during a raid at a hotel and recovered firecrackers from him, while Asad from Noraiz Adha was also arrested for the same offence.
Meanwhile, a carpentry shop was burgled at Saddar Road on Friday.

Muhammad Bilal lodged a complaint with the police that thieves had entered his shop after breaking locks and made off with Rs150,000 cash and other valuables.

Cases have been registered against them under the relevant laws, the police said.
