Indian police claimed on Friday that they have arrested a militant who was allegedly planning to carry out ‘suicide attacks’ in New Delhi after travelling to India from Pakistan via Nepal.
SN Srivastava, who heads an anti-terrorism unit, identified the suspect as Syed Liaqat Shah from Indian-administered Kashmir, who he claimed had come from Pakistan to Nepal on a Pakistani passport.
“He was instructed to recruit people, choose targets and organise suicide attacks in New Delhi,” Srivastava told a news conference. Shah was planning to organise the attacks in New Delhi to ‘avenge’ last month’s execution of Kashmiri militant Afzal Guru for his alleged role in the 2001 attack on Indian parliament, he claimed.

@vasan: well he wasn't a Hindu but was hired by The prestigious BJP Hindus to get stuff done which the cleverly got done. Including the murdering of investigating officer who could have implicated the peace loving, pigeon flying ball thakuray in train burning sabotage
Truth_prevails: Even if India shows the PP to the media, you would have some looney asserting that the PP was not taken from the terrorist, and the PP is the handiwork of RAW. There is no end to denialisam, After all the paki establishment is too well versed with that. Dont we all know that Kasab was a hindu and was caught on Juhu beach firing crackers on diwali day till the "Dawn" burst the baloon of lies and denials.
india is habitual. .!
I though that he had Pakistani Dentonic Powder in the pocket!!!! But bravo, this time it was someone with a Pakistani Passport. Would be interesting if they had the ethics of showing it in media.
