According to an Inter-services Public Relations (ISPR) release, Secretary ECP Ishtiaq Ahmed visited the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi on Friday and met with military authorities.
Issues relating to provision of security during the elections were discussed. Ahmed shared initial details of sensitive areas for polling with military officials.
After due deliberations, it was decided to hold another meeting in the next couple of weeks after the ECP has worked out all the details of security requirement across the country, to be able to evolve a comprehensive security plan.

The law and order before one day and on Election Day must be controlled by Pakistan Army, as whatever happened in Pakistan during the last 5 years could not be controlled by other law enforcing agencies.
The turn out of the voters could be much higher when Pakistan Army will take complete control wherever polling stations will be made by ECP for the voters.
