‘Merit-less admissions’: Verdict reserved on NCA petition
petitioners alledged that NCA administration had deprived 150 eligible candidates of admission.
LAHORE:
The Lahore High Court on Thursday reserved its verdict on a petition challenging admissions allegedly violating merit at the National College of Arts. Some students had petitioned the court through Aftab Ahmed Bajwa alleging that the NCA administration had deprived 150 eligible candidates of admission and taken unworthy students instead. The lawyer had asked the court to decide the issue itself instead of referring the matter to the Cabinet Division of the federal government, which is in charge of the college.
