Attacks: Two murdered, one injured

The murders were due to property dispute and looting.

MANSEHRA: Two people were killed, while a woman was injured in different parts of the district on Wednesday, according to the police.

Twenty-five-year-old Akhlaq Ahmed, son of Shah Zaman was on his way to a neighbouring village on his motorbike when his elder brother Aziz Ahmed opened fire at him with a 30-bore pistol, injuring him severely.

The injured was shifted to a hospital but he succumbed to his injuries. The motive behind the murder was said to be a property dispute between the two brothers.

In a separate incident, unidentified robbers barged into the house of Mukhtiar, of village Kotkay Monoor Mahandri and looted the house.

Mukhtiar resisted, upon which the accused attacked him and his wife, Dilshad Bibi, with axes injuring them both. Locals shifted Mukhtiar to Jaraid hospital where he died.

His wife was referred to the Ayub Medical Complex Abbottabad and is said to be in critical condition.
