Scrap Warehouse: EPD issues notice

LAHORE: The Environmental Protection Department (EPD) on Tuesday issued a notice to Sabri Scrap warehouse for causing air and noise pollution in the area. According to EPD, the warehouse had been operating in a Badami Bagh residential area without an adequate arrangement to curb environmental pollution. After the residents of the area complained, the EPD authorities issued directions to the owner of the warehouse to improve the environmental conditions and appear before the EPD.
