Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly dissolved

Notification of dissolution released by governor.

PESHAWAR: The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa governor dissolved he provincial  assembly on Tuesday, reported Express News.

Chief Minister Amir Haider Khan Hoti had earlier sent his advice to the governor for dissolving the assembly.

A notification in this regard was issued and the assembly will stand dissolved at midnight.

The K-P government had nominated Justice (retd) Tariq Pervez was as the caretaker chief minister for the province. Hoti had told the media that the decision had been made with consensus and was based on merit.

Pervez will be taking an oath tomorrow (March 20) for the post of the interim chief minister.

Balochistan Assembly was dissolved on Monday, by Balochistan Governor Nawab Zulfikar Ali Magsi while the Sindh Assembly is expected be to dissolved today, (March 19).

There should be a method of dissolving judiciary every five years. This will provide opportunity to people to see off judges who fail to deliver justice.
