Remittances : Ufone chosen as service provider

KARACHI: Xpress Money and Summit Bank partnered with Ufone to use Ufone’s widespread agent network to allow expatriate Pakistanis to transfer their remittances to families in Pakistan. 

Ufone will act as a Remittance Payout Agent for Summit Bank, allowing the use of its network to distribute remittances throughout Pakistan.

Mr Rizwan Ali Hamdani, Country Manager Business Development at Xpress Money said: “The partnership with Ufone is a significant step... By adding on more agent locations we are enriching our services, which in turn will help expatriates send and receive money quickly and conveniently, providing tremendous value-add on our existing services.”

With over 4,800 agent locations in Pakistan, Xpress Money accounts for channelling almost 10% of the remittances to Pakistan.
