Commerce college: New building inaugurated

Punjab government has been taking practical steps to improve facilities for education, says Iqbal.

NAROWAL: National Assembly Member Ahsan Iqbal on Sunday opened the new building of the Government College of Commerce built at a cost of Rs33.35 million. Addressing the inaugural ceremony, he said the Punjab government had been taking practical steps to improve facilities for education. He said the government had upgraded over 120 schools and recruited a large number of teachers in Narowal district. He said a UET campus had been established in Narowal and laptops and solar lamps were distributed among intelligent students. Director (Colleges) Dr Muhammad Arshad and Principal Imtiaz Mir were also present.
