Police head Mohrar Bashir Ahmed Baloch said that unidentified armed men riding a motorbike opened indiscriminate fire at a shop located in Qandil Chowk.
Two men, later identified as Munawar, son of Ibrahim, and Zahid, son of Yaseen, died on the spot.
The deceased ran a welding shop and authorities believe the incident may have been a case of targeted killing.
The bodies were handed over to the heirs for burial in their native town.
Meanwhile, in another unrelated incident, the FC carried out a raid near the Sariab Mill area in Quetta, successfully apprehending three accused persons, including Akhtar Bangulzai who was wanted in cases ranging from kidnapping for ransom to vehicle theft.
Separately, the FC intercepted a tractor-trolley in Panjpai, approximately 40 km from Quetta, recovering detonators, remote controls, potassium chloride bags and walkie talkies.
