‘Honour’: Woman killed for trying to choose husband
A woman in Nurpur village of Qaimpur was killed on Wednesday for wanting to marry a person of her choice.
Irum’s uncle, Abdul Qadir, told The Express Tribune that Riaz had killed his daughter with an axe while she was asleep and fled.
Qaimpur police said they had registered an FIR on Qadir’s complaint and were looking for Riaz.
