Governor rule expires in Balochistan

Governor rule imposed on January 14, 2012 in Balochistan expired on Thursday after the completion of its two month period, Express News reported.
According to the constitution, the suspended provincial government has been reinstated, but no formal declaration has been made.
All efforts to subdue Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Aslam Raisani to resign in the last 24 hours have failed.
Earlier, President Asif Ali Zardari met Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf and Governor Balochistan Nawab Zulfiqar Magsi to reach a solution for the Balochistan situation.
