Local government officials said the women entered the province from Iran as tourists and were abducted from an area some 550 kilometres west of Quetta.
"Both the women were from Czech Republic and entered in Pakistan as tourists," provincial home secretary Akbar Hussain Durrani told AFP.
"Gunmen stopped their bus in the Nok Kundi area of Chaghi district and abducted both of them."
Durrani said women were being escorted by a tribal policeman when they were abducted. The guard was also taken captive but was later freed.
Nobody from the Czech embassy was available to comment late Wednesday but Qambar Dashti, a senior government official in Quetta, confirmed the incident.

AJ Khan, what do you mean by Baloch Culture ? Smugglers/Terrorist has no religion and it has nothing to do with Baloch culture.
It seems the foreign agencies are desperate to stop Gwadar & Pak Iran gas pipe line.
Probably the tourists ladies have been picked up by their male tourist friends who may have entered Bolochistan earlier.......
It blew the so called much aclaimed respect of Women in Baloch Culture.
Tragic. Pakistan should request tourists particularly women, to not come to Pakistan.
One wonders what is going on in the mind of these unfortunate women. One also wonders, what on earth were they doing in Pakistan, of all the places.
Why in the world would they want to go there in the first place?
How shameful
yet another blow to the very little tourism we had.
Unleash the conspiracy theories!
