Formula One: Button wants to retire at McLaren

Jenson Button has insisted he would like to remain a part of his McLaren team for the rest of his career.

The 2009 world champion put pen to paper on a new deal wiith the Woking-based team in October 2011. The deal will reportedly see him with the team until 2015.

Upon completion of the deal, Button will be 35, but the Englishman said he had no plans to retire from the sport in the near future.

“I feel very at home,” Button told The Guardian. “I feel like I’d like to end my career here. I’m not saying that’s going to happen soon. I don’t see me leaving. There’s no reason to. Some people decide to leave this team because they feel there’s another challenge, or something’s missing from their position. For me, there is still so much to achieve.”
