Marriage Dispute: One booked on murder charges

The murderer after committing the crime, disappeared in the nearby jungle.

ATTOCK: The Pindigheb police have registered a first Information Report against a suspect killer who allegedly killed a man over a marriage dispute, on Monday. 

Qasim Khan, a resident of Dhoke Bhandar told the police that his brother Shafiq had contracted love marriage with a woman, Saima*, who was already married to Muhammad Akram. His brother shifted Samina to another location.

On Saturday, their father died and Qasim informed his brother, Shafiq, about it.

When they were going to the graveyard for burial, Muhammad Akram and his accomplice Muhammad Aslam who were already waiting there, opened fire at Shafiq, killing him on the spot.

The murderer after committing the crime, disappeared in the nearby jungle. Police have registered a case.
