Drug Dealing: Four sentenced to life in prison

An additional district and sessions judge has sentenced four people to life imprisonment for dealing drugs.

LAHORE: An additional district and sessions judge has sentenced four people to life imprisonment for dealing drugs.

The judge also imposed fines of Rs430,000 in total on the four convicts. Should they fail to pay the fines, six months each will be added to their prison terms. Ichhra police arrested Noorul Rehman in possession of 100kg of hashish, Umar Khan with 40kg, Pervez Khan with 40kg, and Saeeda Bibi with 20kg of the drug in 2008. The judge fined Rehman Rs200,000, Umar Khan and Pervez Khan Rs100,000 each, and Bibi Rs30,000.
