Military operation: Eight militants killed in Orakzai

HANGU: Fighter jets bombed militant hideouts in Mamozai, Orakzai, killing eight militants, according to a security forces official. The official said militant hideouts in Oat Mela and Nadar Mela were bombed early Friday morning and three trenches were destroyed. More than 10 militant hideouts were bombed last week, in Ghunda Mela and Nadar Mela area, killing around 20 militants. On Thursday, a security forces officer was killed when he stepped on a landmine in Nadar Mela and four security personnel were injured in clashes with militants in Mamozai on Wednesday.
