Farmers’ Training: Arfa Kareem Centre of Excellence to be set up at UAF

Dr Khan said that the allocation of space for the establishment of the centre would be made shortly.

The University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) will set up an Arfa Kareem Centre of Excellence on its premises, Vice Chancellor Iqrar Ahmad Khan announced after a meeting with Col (retired) Amjad Kareem Randhawa, director of the Arfa Karim Foundation.


The vice chancellor said that the centre would disseminate information on best agriculture practices among farmers.

Dr Khan said that the allocation of space for the establishment of the centre would be made shortly. He said the centre would strengthen distance learning for farmers and would train them in modern techniques that would help increase production.
