A three-member bench, headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, announced a short order in the Isaf containers corruption case on Wednesday.
FBR had submitted a report in the court stating that over Rs54 billion were embezzled in the case.
The court, maintaining that FBR has not been efficient enough, summoned the FBR chairman in the next hearing and ordered him to give details on the implementation of the court orders.
The hearing was adjourned for two weeks.
Earlier reports had said that about 28,000 containers, originally meant for international forces in Afghanistan under the Afghan Transit Trade (ATT) agreement, had gone missing from the Karachi port.
These containers were carrying supplies for the international forces in Afghanistan.
