The formal decision was taken during a meeting with PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif.
A 22-member delegation comprising political leaders from Balochistan met the PML-N chief in Raiwind today where they announced their decision to join the party.
Raisani had resigned from PPP in 2012 after he developed differences with the party. He developed considerable clout in the province as the brother of the former chief minister Nawab Aslam Raisani and in his own right as a PPP leader there.
While addressing a joint press conference, Raisani said he is committed to Benazir Bhutto’s vision for democracy and so is the PML-N chief, referring to the Charter of Democracy – a document signed between PPP and PML-N in 2006.
“Unfortunately, the PPP-led government failed to honour Benazir’s ideals after coming into power,” he added.
On criticism against his brother for failing to improve the situation in Balochistan, Raisani stressed that the province is suffering because of dictatorial policies spanning over many decades and nothing can be changed overnight.
Speaking to the media, Nawaz welcomed the new members to his party.
PPP President from District Kohistan Haji Misr Khan and PPP MNA from the same area Saeed Ahmad Khan also announced that they have decided to join the PML-N.

@Muslim Leaguer: If getting 2/3rd majority is your goal, then I don't blame PPP for the current situation of Pakistan.PML(N) had 2/3rd majority couple of time before as well.. Was that any good for PK? I doubt it... You can't expect better from old already tested failed folks.. Keep the flag high - that's all they would do!

What you done? Muslim league (N) political circumstances reveals is not coming into power after the election. Upcoming general election is goes in favor of any single party.
He is alone with different stance,notwithstanding the fact that people of the province was demanding for military rule and dismissal of provincial government including the chief minister.
Prime minster had taken action on the popular demand ,it was justified and according to rules and business.
He has chang loyalty is not justified.
Any person or party which has failed to provide safety or security to the people have no legal or constitutional right to rule over the country or province.
The chief minister of Baluchistan was failed to safe the lives of innocent people so liable to dismiss.
@Queen: For your kind information he had already left PPP for more than A year and Raisani dont jump from party to party as you are stating. He had rendered services to PPP for a longer time but just like Mr Malik recent resignation from PPP is considered an Opportunistic move even after serving PPPP for more than 40 years in a similar manner Raisani is being bashed by new lot of PPP who are known to betray the old members of PPP.
