Need for transparency: ‘Polls can steer country out of crises’

Political leadership should stop number scoring and political gains, says Khan.

PESHAWAR: The country is engulfed in conspiracies and only a courageous leadership can overcome such crises through free and fair elections. This was stated by Chief Justice Peshawar High Court Dost Muhammad Khan at an oath-taking ceremony of district bar association on Monday. He added that political leadership should stop number scoring and political gains and instead focus on holding transparent elections and provide an opportunity to a credible leadership to come forward.
