Land Dispute: Two shot dead in Tumair

Cases have been registered against unnamed members of the Shedo group.

Two persons were gunned down by rival group over a land dispute in the jurisdiction of Nilore Police Station on Friday.


The Nilore police said that two groups, one led by Fazal Anam and other by ‘Shedo’, opened indiscriminate fire on each other in the Tumair area as result of the dispute. They said two persons from Anam’s group — Rafiq and Muhammad Younis — were killed, while Ghulam Saghir and Israr from the same group were injured.

The injured were taken to PIMS. Cases have been registered against unnamed members of the Shedo group.
