British Council Employers’ Fair ended here on Thursday. Ufone being the key participant remained the most sought after employer among the youth visiting the fair. Earlier such events were organised in Karachi and Lahore, said a press release issued by the cellular phone company on Friday.

The Ufone team at the fair provided career guidance and resume writing tips to fresh graduates. It also shared vacancies available at Ufone.

Ufone’s Human Resource General Manager Syed Zulfiqar Ali Zaidi said such events help identify potential employers for fresh graduates. “Ufone believes that partnering with the British Council is a key step in reversing the brain drain,” he added.

Zaidi interviewed a number of potential candidates to give opportunity to them to gain experience at one of the leading cellular companies of Pakistan. Nadia Kamran, Country Head, Education UK at British Council hoped to strengthen BC’s partnership with Ufone for similar events in future.
