QUETTA: The corpses of three kidnapping victims were found on Thursday nearly three weeks after their relatives reported them missing, a security official said.

The three victims were found dead in the bypass area of Chaman, Killa Abdullah district on Thursday, Balochistan Levies official in Chaman, Hassamuddin, told The Express Tribune.

The deceased were identified as Hayat Khan, Haji Ata Wali and Mahmood who had disappeared when their brother Nematullah was killed 20 days back.

Hassamuddin said a passerby spotted the bodies on Gazba Road and informed the Balochistan Levies, who shifted the bodies to the Civil Hospital. “The deceased had died of multiple bullet wounds,” hospital sources said. “The motive behind the murders is not clear,” Hassamuddin said.

According to sources in Chaman, the killings are linked to a feud between two groups. A case has been registered against unidentified persons and an investigation is under way.
