There is a difference between a desire for peace and working towards peace..........right now there is an urgent need for the Pakistani military establishment to effectively clean up the jihadists & the nefarious elements that it had created, I know it is a difficult job but unless and until steps are taken in the right direction ie by making stronger anti-terror laws & effectively enforcing it,India & the rest of the world will just believe that Pakistan is double-crossing it again.
@Antanu G: You have changed after your brief absence from thhis board. In the past, your posts seemed to be so onesided in favour of Pakistan regardless of the issue or facts that I as well as many others did not believe your claim that you were an Indian. In fact eveen @Kaalchakra endorsed you. Now I see your comments as being more in the center. OF course you can and should speak up if you feel Pakistan's point of view is correct in some instances, but with the new found balance, I for one will certainly pay more attention to you now. I would imagine others may as well.
We dont want any relations with Pakistan at all
Of course both Pakistan and India as well as China and Iran want stability and peace in this region of the world. The vast majority of people in all countries want stability and peace. It is just the extreme elements that cause problems and regrettably both India and Pakistan have alot of internal problems and it has got nothing to do with outside forces or elements although they play an immense part.
Relations are already normal since birth of two nations ..?
He should be the first to retire as soon as there are normal relations between Pakistan and India. Pakistan does not need air men for air shows.
Rex Minor
Normal relations will come when Pakistan becomes a normal state.
@Zeeshan: "@cautious, will you give the same advice to your country, India?"
Did u read his last sentence? Or as usual just selective reading and comment with no sense?
@cautious, will you give the same advice to your country, India?
Pakistan wants peace. Its Indian war-mongering that's the hurdle!
U dont good relationship. its ur need
Might be the only benefit of Pakistan's deteriorating economy and fallout with America - Pakistan no longer has the money or allies to provide expensive/exotic weapons which as suppose to intimidate a neighbor who has yet to start a war with Pakistan. Good relations with India would allow Pakistan to re-allocate Billions into the civilian economy - provide education, energy, sanitation etc. and India could do the same. Win - win for everyone.
Really!
