In a statement issued on Tuesday, the minister said that the ‘remains’ of military dictator Ziaul Haq are once again conspiring to defeat democratic forces. He added that such forces had been making so-called alliances in the past. These are the political parties that had made Islami Jamhori Ittehad in the past, he said.
Memon also accused the PML-N leadership of ‘patronising’ and ‘funding’ terrorists. In a statement issued on Tuesday, he alleged that people like Rana Sanaullah are providing security to banned outfits in Punjab, and asked Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif to close down the “terrorist-producing factories”.
Memon also threatened to organise a country-wide protest against PML-N for patronising terrorists. (With additional input from PPI)
