Monitoring The Environment: SUPERCO plans satellite system
The motive is to meet both national and international user satellite imagery requirements.

ISLAMABAD:
The Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) is planning to launch a high-resolution Remote-Sensing Satellite System (RSSS) in 2014, to meet both national and international user satellite imagery requirements.
RSSS is planned to be a progressive and sustainable programme. Talking to APP, an official said it will be helpful in exploiting the potential of space technologies to survey natural resources as well as environmental monitoring.
