Blame Game: PPP forged alliance with SSP: PML-N
Ahsan Iqbal says soon after 1997 operation against SSP, the militant outfit had attacked PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif.

ISLAMABAD:
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz responding to the allegations made by Pakistan Peoples Party on Tuesday, traced past nexus of the ruling party and its allies with banned militant outfits.
Ahsan Iqbal, the deputy secretary general of the party, alleged during a press conference that the PPP had forged an alliance with Sipah-e-Sahaba, a banned militant organisation, during 1996.
He added that soon after the 1997 operation against Sipah-e-Sahaba, the militant outfit had attacked PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif.
