Crime: Man shot injured for resisting robbers

Separate cases were registered against the unidentified snatchers.

RAWALPINDI: A man was shot injured while resisting a robbery in New Town on Tuesday. Police said two motorcyclists intercepted Qasim Rizvi near his house in B-Block and snatched Rs18,000, a laptop, a mobile phone and valuables from him. They shot him injured. He was taken to a hospital. Meanwhile, Sohail Shahzad lodged a complaint with the same police that two armed motorcyclists intercepted him in E-Block when he was on way home after work and snatched Rs5,000 and a cell phone from him. Separate cases were registered against the unidentified snatchers but no arrests or recoveries had been made till the filing of this report.
