The Awami National Party (ANP) favours fruitful dialogue with the Taliban and will participate in an all-party conference (APC) convened by the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), said Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Amir Haider Hoti on Sunday.
Talking to journalists after addressing the fifth foundation day of the Abdul Wali Khan University in Mardan, Hoti said his party would support every move towards peace dialogue with the Taliban. He said the ANP would take part in the APC in order to chalk out a plan for peace talks in collaboration with other parties.
“We will support every party which comes forward for the restoration of peace in the region,” Hoti said. The K-P chief minister also appreciated JUI-F’s initiative in calling a tribal jirga to promote the APC, saying the move would increase the pace of the dialogue process.

@Hassaan: You're trying too hard. Just because one person is revealed to have the same character flaw as another person, it doesn't change anything. Most humans are fully capable of having negative opinions of more than one person simultaneously. You PTI supporters do the funniest, yet sad things for the party. Imran Khan wasn't mentioned anywhere but there you go drawing negative attention towards him by reminding everyone he's still Taliban Khan. Yes, you didn't directly say you were referring to him but it doesn't take a genius to know that if it's a poor attempt at borderline off topic attention seeking, about supporting the Taliban and it would pass for a failed deflection, it's definitely a PTI supporter who is talking about Imran Khan.
@Hassaan: There is nothing funny about dialogue for peace.
Government is the part of the problem.
So According to Desi Liberals, his official name is now 'Amir Taliban Hoti'. Right?
