Orientation: Latest techniques discussed in two-day training

ISLAMABAD:

The special training programme for vice-chancellors and institutional heads of higher education institutions from different countries concluded at the at Higher Education Commission’s (HEC) office in H-9 on Sunday.

Speaking about the two-day event, HEC Chairperson Dr Javaid Laghari said this training program covered the latest techniques and international practices in university governance.

He said HEC along with its stakeholders including vice chancellors, faculty and students, would continue journey of nation building and contribution towards socio-economic development.

HEC Director General Learning Innovation Noor Amna Malik said purpose of the orientation program was to share HEC initiatives with the stakeholders and sensitise them to implement higher education reforms in the universities. The vice chancellors in their remarks termed the orientation program useful and informative.
