Crackdown: ANF seizes five-ton hashish, arrest 10 drug-peddlers

Cases have been registered under Control of Narcotics Substances Act-1997 against the arrested persons.

ISLAMABAD: The Anti-Narcotic Force (ANF) seized a huge cache of hashish, which was allegedly being smuggled to the twin cities and other parts of the country, in separate actions on Sunday. The ANF also arrested 10 drug-peddlers.

Acting on information, ANF teams barricaded Peshawar-Islamabad Motorway at various places and managed to recover hashish weighing 5 tons from various vehicles on way to various parts of the country. Cases have been registered under Control of Narcotics Substances Act-1997 against the arrested persons.
