LAHORE: The Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) has said that it will attend an all-party conference (APC) to be hosted by Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) on February 28 in Islamabad to discuss the situation in tribal regions and come up with ways and means for restoring peace there.  The announcement was made by JI ameer Syed Munawar Hasan at a joint news conference with the JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rahman at Mansoora on Saturday.  The prevailing situation calls for peace dialogue with the Taliban for the restoration of peace in the country, Hassan said. The government’s attitude of ignoring the Taliban’s peace offer and taking it as a sign of weakness was the worst example of indifference, he added.
