Pakistan Navy: Japan’s naval chief on official visit

Visiting Japan Maritime Chief of Staff Admiral Katsutoshi Kawano arrived at the Naval Headquarters on Friday where he was received by Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Mohammad Asif Sandila and was presented the Guard of Honour.

Later, Admiral Katsutoshi Kawano called on Sandila in his office, where they held a detailed discussion on professional matters.

He was also briefed about the Pakistan Navy’s role in regional maritime security situation and operational developments.

During his visit, the admiral will also call on the defence minister and naval admin authorities in Karachi.
