Jolty beginnings: Car with groom, bride falls into canal

MULTAN: A car carrying a bride and a groom fell into the canal on Thursday. The couple and their driver were pulled out by some passers-by. They remained unharmed. The car was also later pulled out. Witnesses said the car was speeding. When it tried to stop, it skidded and fell into the Naubahar Canal. The family of the newly weds, who were following their car, said that they were headed to Sharifpura.
