FAISALABAD: Two men were shot dead by unidentified assailants near a private hospital on the Canal Road on Wednesday night. Peoples Colony police said that Shahid, 20, a resident of Sialkot, and his friend Shafiq, 30, a resident of D-Type Colony were walking out of the hospital when the attackers opened fire, killing them on the spot. Madina Town SP Tahir Masood said the killing may have been a result of an old rivalry. He said apparently the police had seized a car used by the assailants.
