KARACHI: Islamabad (Northern Region) won the Inter-Regional tournament on the basis of the head-to-head result organised by the Beaconhouse School System.
The event was played between teams from Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi representing Northern, Central and Southern regions respectively.
The first clash of the 60-minute matches event was won by Lahore as they defeated hosts Karachi by 2-1.
The second match went to Islamabad who piped down Lahore with a 1-0 victory while the third match ended in a 1-1 draw between Islamabad and Karachi.
Since, Islamabad had defeated Lahore in their league match, they claimed the winners’ trophy.
